The Montgomery County Committee on Aging (MCCOA) was formed in 1973 and is filed as doing business as (dba) The Friendship Center. It is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization specifically dedicated to enriching the lives of senior adults residing in Montgomery County, Texas. For well over 30 years, we have provided a variety of programs and services that help meet the physical, social, and emotional needs of thousands of seniors, age 60 and over.

Seniors enjoy entertainment, meals and fellowship at several centers, hot meals delivered to their homes, access to safe, reliable transportation; outings and more. The intangible benefits include rewarding social interaction, a sense of belonging, and the comfort of knowing there's an organization to turn to for help with practically any problem.
